Motion graphics and video projects

An introduction to some of my practical and teaching skills, made in Adobe After Effects.

Mozart Sonata video idea for my Master's study, using choreographed stock footage, edited in Adobe Premier Pro. The idea was to bring this classical piece into an urban space to encourage new audiences, with street scenes echoing the musical elements.

Beethoven Sonata video for Master's study, based on the notion that the composer had lost his love and the significance of the solo journey he undertook as a committed musician, while also dealing with his increasing deafness. It was during a time spent visiting his brother, around the Linz area, known for its forest. The foliage in the video is a nod to that, as all the Sonatas featured images harkening the environment of the origin of the various compositions. Adobe Premier Pro was used for project.

The idea for this Mozart Sonata video compiled for my Master's study is based on the premise that the composer finished the piece in a hurry as a result of an important visitor to Vienna, and only wrote the notes after his performance. My Master's client's recording of the piece is featured here, as are the favoured images of the environments that the composers of the Sonatas found themselves in while writing the works. Editing was completed in Adobe Premier Pro.
